Portico Academy Trust

Hamstel Junior School opened in 1914 and has grown to serve its community over the course of the years.  The original 100 year old building is still very much the heart of the school but with a number of new buildings joining onto it along the way! The school has 24 classrooms, 2 playground a full functioning library, IT suite, music room, field and all-weather sports pitch and free standing sports hall. The school has an onsite swimming pool which both the Infant and Junior school use.  Children join Hamstel Juniors in Year three and continue their education through to Year six.
